Chapter Five

Rory

I can’t help but be a nervous wreck as I drive Zella back to my house, praying that nobody from my work said anything to Clyde. Clyde knows how close I am with Zella, but he doesn’t need to know the full extent of it right now. I can already see him flipping his shit on me if he learns what Zella and I have done, especially when I haven’t asked for his blessing. I feel like this could really come back to bite me in the ass.

I don’t care though. I just want Zella.

I’ll deal with the consequences later.

When we arrived at my house, Zella is quick to get out of my car and head towards the front door. Here I thought that I was the eager one, but she seems to be even more eager. I’m glad to see that though because that is encouraging me to the fact that she really does want this and I’m not just pushing anything. Hell, I guess I should say she’s the one pushing it. I never thought that she would be the extroverted person who would be pushing everything in this relationship, but it had me craving more.

When we finally make it through the front door, it’s like everything comes crashing forward as I slam the door shut behind us, making sure to lock it as she practically jumps into my arms. I catch her easily, never being one to be afraid of anything like that. I catch her swiftly, pulling her into my arms and drawing her close to myself. She lets out a breathy sigh, as if she is happy about everything that has just happened. I hoist her up, keeping a firm hold on her cute bubble butt as she wraps her legs around my waist. It was such an intimate moment, one that had me worrying about what would happen next between us.

She didn’t let me think too much about it as she kisses me lovingly, making me feel everything. I kiss her back as I carry her towards my bedroom, already knowing where this is going. I don’t stop until we are there, our lips never having broken apart. I didn’t realize how obsessed I would become with having her in my arms, craving her. It’s like she knows what she is doing to me as well and I just love her for it. I can’t even get mad or anything because she’s made me realize that the only way to be happy is to just have her in my arms and be done with it. Her eyes glimmer with mischief as we finally break apart, letting me set her down on the bed.

“You’re being a lot gentler than I thought you would be.” She whispers huskily, leaning back on the palms of her hands, “I must admit, I really like it. You never cease to amaze me, Rory.”

“I want our first time together to be great.” I admit to her, pulling my shirt up and over my head, letting it fall to the ground, “so don’t you dare rush me.
